I don't know about you, but for me, the staffroom was always the special and secret room that no child was allowed into. This made the room seem so exciting and so intriguing that all children thought some circus happened inside the four walls. It was the whole unknowing that made us all think it was a wonderful place.
The reality however does not quite match the expectations of the students.
The reality is that it is simply a room for the teachers to go for coffee and lunch. The chairs are normal, the tables are normal and the coffee machine is definitely normal. Nothing is special.
And if I am being a little honest, it's quite boring! I much prefer going out in the playground with the children than sitting around in the room.
That's the honest, raw truth. Boringggg!!
